Teacher Sally

Sally James is a singer-songwriter and graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts with a BA (Honours) degree in Music (Popular Vocals). She is passionate about experimenting with different sounds and genres of music, and takes her music inspirations from various indie, pop and R&B influences.

Sally took her first small steps by posting covers of her singing with the guitar on YouTube and SoundCloud. Soon after, she realised that music was going to play a huge part in her life as her secondary school teachers noticed her talent in singing. In 2013 and 2014, Sally took part in school competitions GSS Idol and Battle of the Bands, winning first prize for both. In 2014, Sally participated in Singapore Youth Festival Youth Got Talent at Gardens By The Bay.

She is keen on teaching and dedicating her life to help students learn as well as to share her experience and knowledge of music.
