Teacher Wai Qi

Teacher Wai Qi is a pianist and composer who fell in love with classical music and wants to share its beauty with everyone else. She won Gold for her piano performance at the 2018 Hong Kong International Music Festival and also has her film score featured in a short film screened at the 31st Singapore International Film Festival. She then decided to pursue her interest in music by studying for a Bachelor's in Electronic Music, to learn extended performance techniques, as well as improvisation skills that can further complement her classical training. She is also a trained sound engineer with extensive music recording and production knowledge. Teacher Wai Qi understands very well that the love for music develops through encouragement and nurture, and believes that more people deserve to use music to express themselves.
