Teacher Afiq

Teacher Afiq is a dedicated flute educator and performer from Singapore with over 7 years of playing experience. Having graduated with a Diploma in Music (Flute)  from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), he has also been accepted into the Composition Degree Programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, further pursuing his passion for music creation and performance.

As a performer, Teacher Afiq has received recognition in several international music competitions, including:

• Bronze Award (Third Place) – Premier International Music Competition

• Diploma Award (Fourth Place) – North International Music Competition

• Platinum Award – Quebec Music Competition

Beyond classical music, he is actively involved in contemporary and popular music. His creative projects include original compositions, arrangements, music videos, and performances at music festivals, including events associated with renowned Singaporean musician Dick Lee.

 

With a strong passion for music education, Afiq strives to inspire students through engaging lessons that develop both technical skills and musical expression. He believes that every student can discover confidence, creativity, and joy through learning music.
