Teacher Afiq is a passionate and talented Flautist who only started learning the flute as an adult, mentored by various renowned flute teachers in Singapore. His hard work has helped him clinch numerous awards in competitions thus far: 

-1st Place Platinum Award: Quebec Music Competition

-3rd Place: Premier International Music Competition

-4th Place: North International Music Competition

 

After attaining his ABRSM Grade 8 Flute certification, he continued to pursue his dream of being a better musician by enrolling in the Music Diploma course in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). Besides his talent in flute, he also has an interest in songwriting and has released two singles thus far, which includes a pop medley arrangement and song cover (Here to Stay). He was also excited to be involved in a Musical Festival with Dick Lee. He hopes to inspire many aspiring flautists and impart his extensive music knowledge to them.
