Teacher Hanni

Hanni is a music composer and arranger based in Singapore since 2016. She believes that music is a universal language and strives to connect with people of different backgrounds with the power of music, bringing positivity and serenity through her music.

She started playing the violin at the age of 4 and further developed her interest in music through participating in her church orchestra as a Violinist. She later also joined a non-profit orchestra in 2013 to further develop her performing experience.
In 2006, Hanni started gaining interest in the Piano as well. She felt that the piano was a great way to learn more fancy chords to aid her in projecting her melodic ideas. She continued to hone her skills by actively participating in performances in school through her O’Level Music Elective Programme. In that programme, she focused a lot on practical and music theory.

Hanni enrolled into Singapore Polytechnic’s Diploma in Music and Audio Technology (DMAT) in 2017 to learn more about arranging, composing and performing. During her time in Polytechnic, she has also participated as a sessionist for her fellow course mates.
