Teacher Eugene

Eugene began playing the guitar at age 13 training under classical guitarist Thomas Liauw. He soon discovered a liking for rock music, which made him pick up the electric guitar just a year later. He believes that having a strong foundation in technicality will help learning and playing guitar easier and more enjoyable.

Eugene holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts, where he honed his skills as a performer, composer and producer. Apart from teaching guitar, Eugene loves working with songwriters to record and produce music.

 

He is also a founding member of the Indie Post-Psychedelic Rock band Bakers In Space, in which he is the lead singer and guitarist for. The band has played at local music festivals such as Baybeats, the Singapore Night Festival & the Aliwal Urban Arts Festival.
